• The end-of-summer BBQ on Saturday, August 29th was a success, thanks to all who helped organize and showed up!

• Below is a list of parking permits that have been voided. If you see a vehicle using one of these permits in a community parking space, report the vehicle to Terri at office@burkecmg.com so the vehicle can be towed.

American Disposal Services Recycle & Trash Pickup

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Trash & Recycling Pickup

• Schedule: Tuesdays beginning at 6:00 a.m.

• Place trash and recycling in designated containers and secure all items against wind.

• Do not place trash at the curb until the evening before collection.

Special Pickup

• Special pickups must be arranged in advance with American Disposal Services for an additional fee.

• Do not dump large items at the curb without scheduling a pickup.

• Eligible items include furniture, large non-metallic household items, appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and hot water tanks), ferrous metals, and more than 10 bundles of tree limbs or branches.

Yard Waste

• Place yard waste in biodegradable paper bags or personal containers clearly marked "Yard Waste."

SEASONAL GUIDELINES

Grass Clippings & Leaves

• Place grass clippings and leaves in biodegradable paper yard waste bags or personal containers marked "Yard Waste."

Tree Limbs & Brush

• Limbs and branches must not exceed 4 feet in length or 3 inches in diameter.

• Secure brush with rope or twine in manageable bundles.

Collection Limits

• Up to 10 bags of grass clippings and/or leaves per pickup

• Up to 10 bundles of brush per pickup

• Maximum weight of 50 pounds per bag or bundle

• Rocks, concrete, dirt, sod, tree stumps, and mulch are not accepted.

Leaf & Brush Preparation

• Keep yard waste separate from household trash and recycling.

• Do not place loose leaves, branches, or brush at the curb.

• Properly bagged and bundled materials help collection crews work safely and prevent debris from entering streets and storm drains.

Recycling Reminder

• Flatten cardboard boxes and place all recyclable materials inside the recycling container.

• Keep recyclables loose; do not place them in plastic bags.

• If the container is full, distribute additional recyclables across future collection days when possible.

Holiday Collection Schedule

Thanksgiving Day — Thursday, November 26, 2026

• Office closed; no collection.

• Monday–Wednesday: Regular schedule

• Thursday collection moves to Friday, November 27.

• Friday collection moves to Saturday, November 28.

Christmas Day — Friday, December 25, 2026

• Office closed; no collection.

• Monday–Thursday: Regular schedule

• Friday collection moves to Saturday, December 26.

New Year's Day — Friday, January 1, 2027

• Office closed; no collection.

• Monday–Thursday: Regular schedule

• Friday collection moves to Saturday, January 2.

Christmas Tree Collection

• Trees will be collected during the first two weeks of January on scheduled yard waste collection days.

• Remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, and stands.

• Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Inclement Weather & Safety

Collection may be suspended in areas considered unsafe due to snow, ice, fallen trees, flooding, or other hazardous conditions. Service will resume as soon as conditions allow. Visit the American Disposal Services website or mobile app for updates.

Keep Collection Areas Clear

• Place containers where they are visible and accessible to collection vehicles.

• Keep containers away from parked vehicles, mailboxes, low-hanging branches, leaf piles, and other obstacles.

• Place containers at the curb by your community's required set-out time.

Please remember to include your lot number or address on all checks or BANK-ISSUED money orders, which are $225/quarter. Do NOT send a check to our post office box or give cash or check to our president or treasurer.

If you are currently experiencing financial difficulty, please notify Terri Jenkins at BCM, and we can develop a plan to help you with the dues.

Architecture Changes

Any external changes to your house or property (such as a new door or fence) need to be approved IN ADVANCE by the Board. Failure to obtain such approval may result in a requirement to remove the changes. Simple replacement/repair jobs with no cosmetic change to the look of your home DO NOT require an architecture review
